The UniLoad Components

The Drawer

The unique drawer design balances a light weight, strength and hygiene. A light weight maximizes the transport load. Strength minimizes expensive drawer damage. Hygiene reduces litter and facilitates cleaning.

The Module

The drawers are stored and protected by a solid steel module during transport. The rails allow the drawers to move smoothly when being loaded at the farm or pushed out at the plant. The module is designed to minimize litter pickup at the farm and to ensure easy washdown.

The Reception System

After arrival at the plant, the full modules are easily handled with a truck and placed on the reception system. Smooth, automatic module destacking and drawer conveying keep the birds calm. The modular system is adaptable to fit your current and future needs.

Protect Animal Welfare

UniLoad complies with strict animal welfare guidelines. Drawers and modules are designed to ensure good animal welfare from catching to shackling. In the reception area, the system is designed for slow conveying of live birds and there is no dumping or tipping out – shackling takes place directly from the drawer.

UniLoad uses large size drawers and offers unique configuration options. You can choose between three big drawer sizes to best fit the width of your lorry, and four- or five-tier modules for full height utilisation.

The Reception System

Configurable to Suit Your Processing

UniLoad is a modular and scalable reception system suitable for all capacities. The size of the UniLoad drawer allows for more birds in each drawer while still protecting animal welfare. Fewer drawers are necessary and conveyors can run at low speed while still feeding a high-speed slaughtering line. Low speed reduces both bird and equipment stress.

Strict Biosecure Measures

UniLoad takes hygiene seriously by focusing on biosecurity in drawer and module design and by providing highly efficient cleaning equipment for the reception system. To avoid cross-contamination between flocks, the bacterial load on the transport equipment is minimized by thorough wash-down after each live bird load.
