The LINCOload Components

The drawer

The Drawer

The drawer design offers good foot grip and airflow to the live chickens during transport and lairage. The sturdy HDPE plastic material makes the drawer hard-wearing and fit for daily handling and washing.
The module

The Module

The triple modules are four or five tiers high and allow for optimum truck height utilization. The system is designed completely without any door hinges or door locks that require high maintenance. The open module construction facilitates effective cleaning before sending the equipment to the next farm.
The reception system

The Reception System

When the live chickens arrive at the plant, they stay in their transport equipment in calm conditions until loading onto the reception system. Smooth conveying minimizes bird stress and the birds stay in the drawers until the point of shackling.

Robust and Reliable Equipment

LINCOload is designed for markets that demand reliable transport equipment that is easy to use and maintain. The steel modules and the sturdy plastic drawers are designed for daily farm use, transport and constant cleaning.

Automation and High Throughput

The increased demand for higher throughputs and consistent product quality make poultry processors worldwide turn to more automation. LINCOload is designed to protect the birds while transferred from the farm to a high-speed slaughter line and offers full automation on the reception system.

Reliable Smooth Production

When the truck arrives at the processing plant, the full modules are unloaded using a forklift and placed in the lairage area. When the birds are ready to be processed, the full module is placed on a conveyor system for automatic module and drawer handling. Smooth conveying and destacking in the reception system keeps the birds calm. Birds stay in the drawers until shackling to reduce stress – no tipping or dumping of live birds is applied.

The Reception System

Configurable to Suit Your Processing

UniLoad is a modular and scalable reception system suitable for all capacities. The size of the UniLoad drawer allows for more birds in each drawer while still protecting animal welfare. Fewer drawers are necessary and conveyors can run at low speed while still feeding a high-speed slaughtering line. Low speed reduces both bird and equipment stress.

  • Maximized plant throughput
  • Modular to fit capacity and washing requirements
  • Automatic, gentle transport
  • Less wear and tear on the conveyor system

Strict Biosecure Measures

UniLoad takes hygiene seriously by focusing on biosecurity in drawer and module design and by providing highly efficient cleaning equipment for the reception system. To avoid cross-contamination between flocks, the bacterial load on the transport equipment is minimized by thorough wash-down after each live bird load.

  • Separate drawer and module washing for best cleaning result
  • Configurable washing and disinfection units
  • Soaking of drawer before washing to loosen debris
  • Less wear and tear on the conveyor system
